A message to schools on the below itinerary

We have developed a range of unique, incredibly fulfilling educational programmes for students from around the globe. In this post Covid-19 era, we are focusing on our most popular experience, The Australian Academic & Cultural Immersion Programme, which takes place in Sydney, Australia. Below is the itinerary for that experience, participated in by schools pre-covid. Your school's experience will be very similar - any differences or changes such as programme duration or included activities and workshops will be discussed during your face-to-face consultation with a Wallaby Education representative.

Australian Academic & Cultural Immersion Programme

Educational Experience in Sydney

The Australian Academic & Cultural Immersion Programme has been designed specifically for middle to high school students who are considering pursuing higher education in a western country. The programme aims to develop young adults’ independence and leadership skills within an out-of-the-country experience. Participants are involved in activities that foster and develop these competencies within an unfamiliar foreign culture. The workshops and interactions with leading education providers highlight Australia's world-renowned education system and introduce students to different learning techniques, as well as entrepreneurship and innovation. In addition to the academic experience and leadership development, the programme will introduce students to authentic Australian culture, stunning scenery and world-famous attractions, giving particular emphasis to outdoor education and interaction with wildlife.

Matthew Harris is nothing but an amazing partner-agent, wonderful host, tour guide, and a generous friend, who made sure that our group would experience the best that the destination has to offer. He made sure that we just do not do to the usual “touristy activities” but planned the programme seamlessly such that students would have first-hand experience of real local immersion. We always look forward to joining hands with him in creating innovative programmes that would give our students the avenue to achieve their full learning potentials outside the four corners of the classroom.
